xrefs forgetting paths

We are using drawings with up to 20 main xrefs and then multiply xrefs associated with them. I am having trouble getting the xrefs to save the paths that I assign. Some remember, some don't. I have also set in options for the main xref folder to be in the startup of A2K. Any ideas?

    Thanks

I'm assuming your on a network. Could it be as simple as the drive name
(for you server or wherever your storing your xrefs) between 2 or more
computers is different? i.e. its a "d" drive on one and "e" drive on
    another.

    Matt,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to take care of this by opening each xref that gives me a problem and saving it on our network. Then I "save path" during the drawing session that has the xref in question. Does telling A2K to look in this root folder actually work, inside options/files/project path?

    Thanks

Acad will always look in the specified path first. If it cannot find the
drawing in the path it will look in the local folder. Again, on the
network, all your computers should have the same drive name for your server.
I don't think you should be specifying xref locations under options.

You may also want to look into relative path's (in the help file)
