Xref list outside of AutoCAD?

'Anyone know where I might find a utility for listing xrefs in drawings
while not in AutoCAD? It needs to include the paths to the xrefs also.

I know I can use DesignCenter in AutoCAD, but it only lists the xrefs by
    name, and not their location.

The reason for this is that we often burn milestone CDs that get saved in
the paper file folders, and there might be 20 or more drawings per
milestone, along with associated xrefs, but many xrefs are in different
paths, while using standard naming conventions, so I can't just pick any
topo-ex.dwg, etc. Right now, I have to open each drawing, verify the actual
xref locations, and write them down - it's just real time consuming...

Etransmit is an option, but that generates all the files again, when I only
want to copy them to CD.

Thanks for any ideas - John

Thanks for the link. It looks great but I don't know if I'll be able to
justify that cost to the boss, since we only need something for simple xref
listing. But I'll check out the trial version - maybe it'll do enough other
things that I can justify it...

I'll check into this - I found we have access to it because we're on
subscription, but I find the following line confusing:

The Reference Manager Extension is a stand-alone tool that helps CAD
managers and users manage complex file relationships and dependencies
generated by AutoCADĀ® 2002 and the vertical products based on it.

If it's stand-alone, why does it require that the drawings be generated by
R2002 and verticals or later? We're still using 2000i, (LDT2i), and I was
under the impression the drawing format for R2000-R2002 was the same.

'Guess I'll have to download it and see what happens.

    John,
Reference manager will read drawing files generated with any version of
Acad, as far as I know. It's a great tool.
