I must be extreemly lucky or stupid. I haven't been in the group for a while
and I built a new computer.
    AMD Barton 3200+ 400FSB
    1 gig PC 3200/400
    Gigabyte GA-7VT600 1394 MB
    2 WD 74gig Raptors (SATA)
    Plextor DVD Burner
Installed XP w/ Service pack 1.
Running SW sp0. Everything is fine.
Upgraded to XP sp2 and everything still works, no problems yet??

SolidWorks should work fine. You will have a problem if you try to install
    a service pack.

With XP SP2 installed we had not been able to install any SP's for 2004.

I just noticed that SW talks about not upgrading to XP Pro SP2 until the
proper SP's are applied from SW but does not mention the XP Home Version. Am
I to conclude that there's no problem with the home version, only the Pro
version? Also someone asked 'what problems'. I have been reading warnings
that XP SP2 would foul up SW, especially 2005.

SWX does not support XP Home Version. Thus, there is no need to mention
    it in their issues list.
