XP SP2 Plotting

I have just installed XP SP2. Without it the plot dialog box and page setup dialog box worked immediately. With XP SP2 they take anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes to bring up the dialog boxes. I have checked this out on the knowledge base and found a reference to the same sort of problem (ID TS62597) but that was dated in April before SP2 was released. Has Autodesk found any bugs with this or are there any publications that I might reference, or is there a fix??

I had exactly the same problem, But i was even dumber, I loaded
SP1 for AutoCAD 2005 & then SP2
for windows XP, was having big delays with dialogue boxes not
just plotting but also options,
There is however hope, You need to delete any ctb files that are
not necessary (or at least
move them out of the search path), also remove anything
unnecessary from the search path, Then
get rid of any printers you don't use, There is a detailed
document on the Autodesk site
regarding this, I think it is no TS45410? Anyway this has worked
for me, My machine is now
working better than it was before, Hope it works for you

I had the same problem. Did some research and solved the problem by
removing printers from my system I wasn't regularly using. Fixed it
completely. Got the help from TS45410.
