xlines on a diferent layer

    OK, this is the problem:
    I want to draw some temperary lines in the layer "temp". I have made
    this:

    (setq cl(getvar"clayer"))^M;^C^C-layer;make;temp;;_xline;h;(setvar
    "clayer" cl)^M;

    the problem is that the first xline I make is indeed in the layer
    "temp" but the second, thirt, etc. are in my curent layer again. Can
    anyone help me improve?
