XES 8825 - Large spool size?

    We have an XES 8825 and 2000i. When printing a 3 meg drawing with 4 one meg linked images, it spools 72 meg (!?) to the printer. Has anyone else run into this? It wouldn't be that bad, but we have a remote office trying to print it, and it takes forever.

    Printing a 3.5 meg PDF w/ Acrobat:
    LaserJet 2300 spools 8 meg
    XES 8825 spools 40 meg
    That just doesn't seem right.

    It could be that the one has a Postscript option in it where the other one
    doesn't so Adobe has to basically render it as a tiff to send it to the
    plotter.
