We just made the switch to AutoCAD & ADT 2005. Upon doing so, we are now experiencing a problem when plotting drawings containing wipeouts to our production Xerox 8830 plotter. It appears that the wipeout is either ignored or prints as a screened pattern, depending on the settings. I've searched for and found several posts concerning this very issue, but have not found a definitive solution. I've tried using the default Xerox 8830 driver that comes with ADT 2005, as well as the latest 10.0 version posted on the Xerox web site. I don't recall this printing problem with ADT 2004, but we didn't really use it for production drawings. Just for fun, I went ahead and installed the AutoCAD 2004 Xerox driver (ver 9.1) to try and rectify the problem, but to no avail. Being fairly old, our Xerox 8830 uses the F5Y controller board with firmware version 4.2. Anyone else experience this problem, and if so, did you find a solution? Is anyone using the 10.0 driver on a 10.0 firmware with success?
