Xdata and Group Code 1041

    I attach Xdata to an object using group code 1041. If the object is then
    scaled, the Xdata value automatically changes accordingly. If I stretch the
    Xdata value of the object does not change. Is there a way to have Xdata
    value(code 1041) update when the object is stretched?

    What is the difference between 1041 and 1042? Why would one be used over
    another?

    Using reactors you should be able to do this.
