x86 architecture is dead + shoutout to Dennis Shinn

    Its been a long time.

    Shoutouts to my old BBS friends, and a shot of your finest whiskey, in
    a salute to some fantastic years.

    Dennis, thanks for the inspiration, the mentoring, and the patience.
    I teach your silent lessons as much as I can.

    I haven't seen nor heard of Dennis on these groups for some time. The
    last I spoke with him he had "retired" to working on his jeep and
    building furniture. But you're right, he was an inspiration and a
    knowledgable source of information when he participated here

  3. Dennis popped in a couple years ago just as someone was asking the question,
    "Whatever happened to Dennis?" (I'm in his debt too.)
