This is probably the wrong group for this but I was wondering if anyone
has had this before. I have a program that creates a "wblock" via Lisp.
The problem is that I'm using Acad 2004 and have my settings to save as
Acad 2000. Other users are still using Acad 2002 and are able to open
any drawings that were saved from this program but the "wblock" drawings
are not able to be opened. Is there a diferent setting for the version
    when "wblock" is used?

    Thanks,
    Bill

  2. Well, if you try it manually, the WBLOCK dialog box only has options for
DWG and DXF which suggests there is no way to wblock back in versions.
You'll need to revise your program to open the newly created drawing and
save it back to 2000 as soon as the wblock portion is completed.

Along with the Wblock if anyone is using AutoCAD Map 2004/2005 and attach
dwgs then saveback your edits it also saves them in the "Current" format. I
also think RefEdit works the same way in AutoCAD, saves the dwg to the
current format. (I don't know for sure I'm not a Xref user)
