Why is it creating plt files?

I have pc3 files on our network with 30 stations pointing to this
folder. All the other computers will print to the printer when using a
pc3 file. I have one LT 2005 system that insists on creating plt files
from one pc3 file. The other pc3 files print to the printer as they
    should from this computer.

I can print just fine using this pc3 from the other computers so I
don't think its the pc3 file. "Print to file" isn't checked on the plot
dialog box, nor in the pc3 file.

On this station I can print using a different pc3 file to a similar
printer and it print out like it should. So I don't think its an
AutoCAD setting. Could it be a port setting? I don't have any idea what
    is going on.

    Thanks for the help.
