What is making ADT 2004 add plotter configs? A new plotter is added with an
    "a" appended to the name.

Example: Select plotter HP1050C.pc3 then a file of HP1050Ca.pc3 is made.

And it keeps on adding a's it us up 8 of them.

OK, but if somebody says ask in the print-plot group I'll scream ;)

  4. Is the plotter networked?

Is the original pc3 file read only?

  6. Hmmm....I thought I had a clue. This happened to us when:

I put all the pc3s on a network shared directory. I made them read-only so
that people wouldn't screw up the settings. But, we found that if someone
wants to screw the settings, Autocad just says that it can't modify the
pc3...do you want to make a new one? ....so everyone said yes and we ended
up with a ton of pc3s. I surrendered and put the pc3s back on the local
    drives.
