I have installed Assura in my Cadence, but when I ran it, for example, the
DRC command, it said"failed to build VDB.cannot submit DRC run". So what
should I do to solve this problem. Hoping you can help me. Thanks!

  2. Usually there is a bit more information in the log before that message.
See if you can find it and share with us. Then we might be able to
    suggest something.

    Hi,

ok,there is some information before that. Can you see what's happening
here with Assura? However, the Diva DRC works fine with the divaDRC.rul
    file.

Diva and Assura are NOT completely input-deck compatible, that
    is your main problem.

So you can run Assura just fine, but you don't have an Assura
deck to run it on. :)

If your PDK provider does not have Assura support for bicmos8hp,
It's worth trying divaToAssura on the divaDRC.rul. You should
expect to spend time debugging and/or enhancing the output.
