    hi all,

I am trying to use cadence encounter and buildgates for synthesis of
vhdl designs, I would like to have the library files (lef and tlf)
files for technology 130 nm 90 nm and below if available.

can someone advise me on where to get it.

    thanks,

Typically, you get that as part of the standard cell library
    you're using.

    Mali,

In general, stdcell libraries are available for "free"
from ARM/Artisan, Virage, etc. (they get a royalty
payment back from the foundry), or directly from
    your foundry.

    For example:

    http://www.arm.com/products/physicalip/productsservices.html
    http://www.viragelogic.com/render/content.asp?id=196
    http://ipmaster.umc.com/IPCatalog/

In all cases, you'll need to convince a salesperson that
you are a bonafide customer; this data is all considered
proprietary, and you'll not get it just to play with.
