WHERE TO DOWNLOAD HATCH FILE?

I have downloaded hatch from http://space.tin.it/edicola/lwcon/ but where do i save this file into?

 

Since you didn't indicate which release of AutoCAD or what specific Autodesk
product you are using we will have to assume AutoCAD.

You can create a folder for your newly found PAT files and then add that
folder to AutoCAD's working search path

or

You put them in a folder that is already in a searchable path.

Another thing you can do is use DesignCenter to allow use of these PAT files
and even create a macro to ADCNAVIGATE to that folder... with 2004 you can
also customize tool Palletts.

find ACAD.PAT.. at the Command: line, use this: (findfile "acad.pat")
save it there....

IF you want the new pattern to load and be available without intervention...
open it in a text editor, select all... copy... open ACAD.Pat, and paste
all.
