What's the folder UserDataCache for?

    On my computer it is
    c:\Program Files\ADT 2004\UserDataCache

I notice that on my computer, this directory,
has a subdirectory with plot styles. Is this just a temp
directory? What's it for? Is anyone creating files
in this directory? Do the plot styles get copied
automatically? If so, why can't AutoCAD find
these files when the program is reinstalled?

    Thanks

  2. That folder is used during an install to copy the files to the user's
    profile.

I wonder if the options issue isn't with ADT. I don't remember it being a
    problem with vanilla 2005.

    Thanks Robert,

Its also the default startup directory for autocad
as specified in the desktop icons to launch autocad
    and I'm wondering why.

What's magical about that directory? The save
command opens to the "MyDocuments" directory
    anyhow.

    Regards,
    Doug
