Whatever Happened to Partial Plot Preview?

One of my co-workers (hi, Wayne) noticed the other day that the Partial Plot Preview option is now missing from the AutoCAD 2005 (and 2004 I would also assume) Plot dialog box.

The Partial Plot Preview gave a quick graphical preview of the plot limits as well as numerical values such as:

    Paper Size: (eg. 8.5x11 Inches)
    Printable Area: (eg. 8.25x10.75 Inches)
    Effective Area: (eg. 5.98x10.75 Inches)

To save on regen time from a FULL Plot Preview, the PARTIAL Plot Preview was very handy in letting you know if your plot was going to be successful or not.

Does anyone know if Autodesk meant to remove this feature?

Does anyone know another way of getting the information for the Partial Plot Preview as described above?

    Thanks
