What meaning L 00004 C 00004

I've look this counter at right side on below corner,yes if we tab button
push this cursor would move to the right side,and if we push enter button
the cursor would go to down,then counter would increase display,my question
is what meaning "L" and "C" ,and so what advantage if we are creating the
program (or correlation may be)?

 

I think you are talking about VLIDE window.
L 00004 means that your cursor position is in the 4th line of the document and C 00004 means that the cursor is on the 4th column of that line (1 column= 1 char)
