What does the "squareGrow" in Assura deck do??

  1. Hi,

    In Assura DRC file, there're some rules like:
    r311a = drc( nwell width < 8.0 edge squareGrow=4.0 )
    r312b = drc( nwella nwelld sep < 32.0 squareGrow = 16.0 )

    and others... They use "squareGrow" keyword with half the value of
    separation value..Is it always like that? And what's the need of using
    it?

    I didn't find it clear in manuals!

    Thanks a lot in advance,

  2. This is certainly quite clearly described in the Diva manuals if it's not in the
    Assura manuals. Try taking a look there.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
