What are these extra features?

Command: select
Select objects: all 4709 found

Select objects:

Command: (sslength (ssget "x" (list (cons 210 (list 0 0 1)))))
4875


I have features only in model space. No features are created in paper space.

Can any one tell me what could be these extra features (4875 - 4709) and how to know about them?

Raghu,

(ssget "x") selects all objects(entities) in the database (drawing) whereas
select-all excludes entities on frozen layers and filters entities on other
spaces.

But, I do not have any frozen or locked layers.
My drawing has features only in model space.
Any further clues?

Try:

command: _list _all _r [select all objects visible]

and go in the text screen to se what is hidden

(maybe null text, blocks, ...)
