(This may eventually come through as a duplicate. If so, ignore the other one.) Discovered an issue here in that one guy asked why every time he opened the weld symbol dialog box, he had to reposition it just to press the OK button. Don't know - let's look. Hmmm, the box comes up partially off the screen every time. Jump to the conclusion. I save a master (registry) settings file on the network so that when I load a new machine, I can just pull in all the desired settings. I also update it periodically to keep it current. Turns out that something happened on my machine at some point in time that set a hard value for the location of that dialog box, and since I run a higher resolution than he was, and I had placed it in the corner of the screen on my machine, it somehow got locked there and was then coming up off his screen. To solve it, I found a reg key value of "annotation_welds"="0,1,-1,-1,-1,-1,857,423,1410,978" under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2006\User Interface\Dialogs] and deleted it. Now the box always comes up in the middle of the screen and you can place it anywhere you want. Unfortunately it doesn't remember that position as other boxes do. I would appreciate it if other people would please try moving the weld symbol dialog box to see if it stays put on their machines, or if it always comes up in the middle. Thanks. WT
