When I start VXL from a layout window, DFII automatically brings up
the schematic view from my current cellView/libName. This is normally
a welcome feature, but right now I'm working from schematics in a
different library. What property/magic do I need to set to make VXL
will bring up the new schematic from the new library? I'm assuming
the pointer to the schematic view is just some meta-data that needs to
be modified in the layout view.

I realize I can enter VXL through the schematic and then pick the
associated layout, but doing this on cell after cell is getting very
    old very quick.

  2. If I've understood your problem, Connectivity|Update|Connectivity reference
(in 6.1, the equivalent exists in previous version but I don't remember the
    position).

Yes, that's it Jean-Marc. Thank-you very much! More specifically,
with my version of VXL, the menu path was: Connectivity|Update|
    Source...
