VSWR circles in smith chart

I have done an sp-analysis an plotted the result in a smith chart. For
clarity and help, I would like to include VSWR-circles, but don't know how.



Does anyone else?

Whilst you can plot VSWR, you can't plot it on a Smith Chart.

VSWRi is defined as:

1+|Sii|
--------
1-|Sii|

where i is a port number. So it's a scalar value versus frequency - not complex,
and so can't be plotted on a smith chart.

I don't know if cadence can do it, but the OP was probably
interested in plotting constant VSWR circles on the smith
chart. Another way to describe it is the locus of points
( Sii) that provide a constant VSWR. Just a guess.

I understand. I don't think this can be done right now - Peter, you should
contact customer support using your normal channel and ask for this as an
enhancement request - sounds doable.
