Vsual Lisp editor button madness

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Daniel Bennett, Apr 9, 2004.

  1. Does anyone else out there notice that each time you open the Visual Lisp
editor you get a different colour theme for your toolbar buttons. Sometimes
it's normal, sometimes blue, sometimes green, red or yellow. Today was
black. When they are black they are useless! Anyone know how to fix this
    bug?

    Daniel.

  2. I haven't had this problem since switching from Windows 2000 Pro to
Windows XP. I've only had XP for about a week now so no guaranties.

  3. I posted the same message 3-29-04 and didn't get any answers that helped.
Magically, the black button problem went away on it's own. I guess the Bug
Fairy was being mean to me that week and is being nice to me this week.

I had one time black buttons in VLisp editor an I feard the worst. This happend after a AoutCAD crash while debugging an arx application.
But at the next start of AutoCAD all was ok.

No idea how or why, BUT just so you don't feel all alone - I have had the same problem for a LONG time, and have simply learned to look at it as a refreshing change. Ooooh Goodie I wonder what color they will be today??

    Enjoy!

I 've had the same problem.

In my case, there's the following clumsy remedy though: before opening the
vlisp editor by typing "vlide" at he prompt, I simply click just once in the
document space. This avoids the problem.

    Depressing, isn't it?

  7. Actually it is refreshing to see what colour they will be (pretty green
today) but not so enlighting to see them all black!
