vlax-create

    I used vlax-create-object to create a new Autocad Session.
    How do I open a specific drawing in that session? I need to extract some information from that drawing while in another drawing.

    If your only extracting data / objects from the drawing why not use
    ObjectDBX? You can access a drawing database and use activex methods to
    access pretty much everything. Do a search for "ObjectDBX" to find out
    more.

    I don't know anything about ObjectDBX.
