Does anyone know if the VLIDE has the ability to list external functions
that are called by a program BUT are not defined within the program?

I want to VLX package all functions necessary to program operation that are
    currently defined in other files.

If not, is there a program out there that will do this? I have used ALLY for
this in the past but, as a DOS program, it is limited in file size.

    Thanks,

    Don Butler

  2. Yes, I use LispLink for certain things such as localizing varibales.
It also does exactly what you want.
I didn't even realize it til you asked.
You can get a demo from caelink.com and then buy it for cheap.
I have not been able to get the advanced features of it to work but man, it rocks for localizing variables.
email me if you need help, it really is the ticket.

That's funny. I bought LispLink awhile back and haven't used it all that
much. I'll see what it can do.

    I appreciate your response,

    Don

  5. cool, I sure wish adesk would update the vlide.
I make more use of lisp than any language they offer so not sure why they don't do a few things to it and bragg some.
That would get the attention of cad managers and the people that decide to upgrade or not.
