Vinyl cutter to plot-how?

    I just got one of these cheap vinyl cutters.(see link below) I'd like to
    know if anyone has a suggestion on how to get AutoCad to recognize it
    and maybe plot to it. The unit can run a pen.

    Right now the process that works is to open the DWG in Corel X3, then
    export to Illustrator .AI format and then open the file in the included
    Signcut X2 software and plot.

    I'm hoping there is a simpler way. Any suggestions on a driver that
    would make the cutter visible to Autocad. I'd like to not have to go
    through Signcut.

    The cutter/plotter is on the serial port com02, and it says DMPL HPGL
    Compatible.

    If I'm asking this in the wrong forum please feel free to suggest the
    right one.
