I want to print from the layout tab, I'm using a 24x36 sheet with a scale
    1/4"=1'-0".
Do I make my title block 1152x1728" and insert that in the layout viewport?
or do I insert my title block and make it a viewport. Another thing does
the size of my sheet automatically gives my drawing a 1/4" scale or do I
have to set the scale in the viewport and when plotting the drawing.
    Any suggestion will be appreciated,
    Thank you

the model your drawing should be at full scale (1=1) and in medel
space. The titleblock should also be 1=1, but in paperspace. In your
case the titleblock shold be 24x36. Once you have the viewport made
(either use the default given in paperspace or create your own
(command:vports). from paperspace or layout view activate the viewport
by 2x clicking inside the viewport, once it's "active" use the scale
command. to scale the viewport to 1/4"=1'-0".. use this..
    scale / .0104xp
this is the most accurate and proper weay to use modelspace and
paperspace, thru the use of scaling viewports.
