Viewport FREEZE/THAW ON/OFF LOCK/UNLOCK States

    I remember once finding some documentation on how AutoCAD handles the layer
    state in a viewport, but cannot find this reference. I've search through
    AutoCAD's documentation, to no avail.

    If I recall correctly, there is a DXF flag that has a set of bits that the
    user can manipulate for a given viewport.

    Does anyone have anything they can provide me on this subject? Also, if you
    have any LISP that would be useful, I would appreciate much!

    Search for 'layer states' -- lots of good info there.
