I use to have a shortcut for selecting the top assy and then
automatically unhiding all hidden parts in the tree. I think it was
view (or show) all configurations or something like that. With 2005 I
can't seem to make this work. Anybody have a solution?

OIOW I want to have a shortcut to automatically unhide all hidden parts
in an assy. Very helpful after I've gone through and hidden components
so that I can view what's behind (or inside) them. I would rather hide
components oftentimes than make them transparent.

    Thanks folks.

  2. To do what you request, pick the top item in the tree and then go to
Edit/Show with Dependents. This will show all, clear to the bottom.

This is how I use to do it (SW2004) but now it won't work for some
reason. It will work for each subassembly but not at the main assy
    level.

My current workaround is to use shift-click to select everything in the
tree and then show with dependents, this works but is a little time
    consuming.

  4. That is strange, as I did it in SW2005 SP2.0 and it worked fine. Just for
grins you might want to try reloading the CU key to reset all the settings
from the LM key. Might work.
