Is there any way to show assembly features (specifically the planes) in the
    view dependencies list?

I'm trying to have a (relatively) direct way to find out what components are
    mated to a particular plane

    Michael:

But you can RMB on a part in an assembly and pick "View Mates".
As for a "direct" way to view any dependencies you can RMB on a plane and
    pich "Parent/Child".

    Hope that helps a little

Nope--Parent/child doesn't do anything for me. All it tells me that the
mate group is dependant on the plane, but not WHICH mates

    What ver/sp are you on?
You could try to RMB on anything in the FM and pick "Go To..." type in the
name of the plane and cycle thru until kingdom come.
