I am having a problem when running Autocad 2004.
Whenever I exit from a dialog box it leaves a black void where it had
been. I then need to regen to get my image back (panning also works).
I have a Sony SDM HS-93 monitor (LCD) and my video card is NVidia
    GeForce FX 5200.
I have tried every setting option I can think of and no relief!
AutoCad it the only program this problem occurs in.
Any help would sure be appreciated.

  2. as always, ensure to have the current GeForce video driver installed,
maybe a MS certified WHQL version preferred: www.nvidia.om

if the current driver shows the same problem, decrease the video
acceleration in the Windows system control panel step by step and try
    to reproduce.

Have you checked out the OpenGL settings and tried modifications there?
If so then (like Norbert Grund) I recommend a different driver.
