    Greetings All,
I'm in the process of ordering a new Dell XPS 720 and have a video card
question. The Dell will be pretty much used for my SW, Pro-E, etc training
at home. I plan on running dual monitors, a 20" from Dell and possibly a
large LCD tv/monitor. That being said, here are my viable choices. GeForce
    8800 GT 512M Dual GeForce 8800 GT 512M or a GeForce 8800 GTX 768M. And
while I've got your attention, what about processors? Core2 Q6600 Quad core
    8M cache 2.4G 1066FSB Core 2 Dou Processor E6850 4M 3Ghz 1333FSB
    or a Core 2 Quad Q9450 12M 2.66Ghz 1333FSB. I understand all of the
terms, but don't know which would suit my needs best. Thanks for your input.

SW has a very good chart on their website on this very subject.

While GeForce will work a Quadro is recommended to eliminate the
    limitations.

Spending money on a quad core should be a last resort over getting the
fastest single or dual core processor. SW runs in one core 90% of the
    time.
