vba code to copy "idrop-schema.xdr" from the internet to a local directory

    I'd like to find a way to copy a file from an internet URL to a local
    directory. Thanks.

    You best bet is to use wininet. Or there is something called httpmsxml3, something like that. I'll find out if you can't get going on wininet.
