VBA AutoCAD querying XREF'ed drawing from inside Current Drawing

    I am a beginner VBA programmer.

    I can draw a line by snapping NEAR from a polyline to NEAR on another
    polyline in an XREF'ed drawing. This mean that the data base for that
    drawing in available to the current drawing.
    How can I query the data base of the XREF'ed drawing - using VBA -
    from the current drawing ?
