Variables not nil?

When I do a saveas on a drawing, any global variables that were in that drawing retain their value in the new drawing.

I didn't think it was always that way in AutoCAD, was it?

What variable do I need to set to remedy this.

I tried acadlspasdoc both ways and it didn't do it.

    TIA

    Bill,
I think that is typical. If you want to have a fresh start, then
use the save command and then the open command.

Saveas just continues the current drawing session under a
    different name.

their value in the new drawing.
