Using reactor to insert block with DesignCenter

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Marie Desaulniers, Jul 6, 2004.

  1. What is the better way to control the scale and the layer when inserting a block with the DesignCenter ? Using reactors ?

    Thanks for your help

  2. There is no simple way to tell if a block is being inserted from
Design Center. Some have mistakenly assumed that the
undocumented "DROPGEOM" command tells you that, but
that is not the case, because that command runs when you
use any kind of OLE based Drag and Drop. Don't rely on it
to detect insertion from Design Center.
