Hello, I am new here, and on a search for information about plotting with HPGL. I have acquired an old plotter that has no software or drivers, and am thinking I have to issue plot commands directly via something like DOS, or write a driver, or find some other means of getting it to work. So this is the most basic of questions about using HPGL: by what means are commands sent to the plotter? A text file? A driver within a given OS? I have a PC, a cable, and a plotter. What do I do next? :-) David
