Recently at my work a few of us have started useing dual monitors and
our main program is autocad. the second monitor clears up toolbar
space and allows us to see two programs at once, but we were wondering
    if something was posible.

Is there anyone out there that knows how we can open one sesion of
autocad and work on one .dwg in BOTH monitors at the same time? This
would allow us to look at an entire floorplan in one monitor, and zoom
in on an area of interest in the other window. We would be able to
see how makeing the change to that small area effects the whole
    drawing.

    any help would be apreaciated.

    Thanks in advanced
    Mad.

If you have Windows XP you can simply stretch the AutoCAD window to cover
    both monitors.

Sadly to say that the second monitor is for aerial view only.
Working in both monitor is included in the wish list as of now.
However microstation has this feature since the beginning. I started
working in microstation version 3, that was 12 years ago.

Stretch the AutoCAD program window so that it is on both monitors, create two tiled viewports.
