using CAL to get tan of radius ??

    are you working in civil/surveying? I guess from your addy its boat design?
    You guys use minutes and seconds eh?
    I just use decimal degrees when working with degrees and its' actually
    usually simpler for me to think about than radians (though it's no deal to
    convert) just that in architectural one usually talks degrees.

    Mark,
    No civil eng.
    No min/secs.
    Decimal degrees is good enough.
    Only thing I need this stuff for is my programming.
    I don't draw much anymore. Most of our drawings are illustration/information list for the assy line.
    Some vendor drawings.
    The trig has been most valuable.
