I have our layer standard on a couple of webpage and I would like it if
I could click a link or button next to the layer and it insert that
layer (w/ all of its properties) into AutoCAD.. any hints would be
helpful because i don't even know where to start.. I'm willing to learn
VBA or something else if needed...

    Court,

I dont know if you have thought of or tried it but,
We use a standards template that is set up with all of our layers, linetypes, lineweights, plot styles etc. After a drawing and/or drawings are completed we run a standards check on the dwg and/or dwgsto match it with the CADD standards template. If you need help or information feel free to contact me.

    Hope it helps,
