User path definitions

I am trying to figure out how Acad/ADT 2004 defines the All User and User
paths. Specifically, I want to move the Plot Styles path from All User to
the specific User, and define this is a Template so anyone using the
template will have their own unique Plot Styles folder. I can add a specific
user path to the Template, and I am wondering, does Acad automatically
repath from \gordon\Application Data... to \<user>\Application Data... or do
I have to define the path specifically to user the UserName environment
variable?

If I understand what you are trying to do, you should be able to use the
%username% variable in any path of the profile to redirect to a different
folder for each user.
