User-defined bitmaps and transparency colors

  1. Dear all,

I have a rather silly question on user-defined button bitmaps: what color is considered the "transparent" one when I create a bitmap to place onto my toolbar? Toolbars themselves get their background color from Windows, but my predefined .BMPs can't :) Is it possible to use transparent GIFs somehow via accompanying resource DLL?

    Regards,

  2. The color of the pixel in the upper-left corner, I believe.
