    Hi,

We bought Viz4 with a network license about 3months ago, and subscribed so
that we got the upgrade to Viz 2005, now we have the upgrade disc, and can
upgrade the software on all the computers,, but don't know how to upgrade
the license on the server. If anyone can help us with this it would be
    greatly appreciated.

  2. I'm not sure this applies since I don't have VIZ but do have AutoCAD 2005.
You have to upgrade the network license manager on the server. Then you have
to request a new license file. Using AutoCAD 2005 there is on the CD a
component called Network License Authorization Utility that is really easy
    to use for this.

Yes. This applies to VIZ. The big difference is that you don't crate a
network deployment. You install directly from the CD or an image of it. You
will get a dialog box that will let you select either a stand alone or
    network install.
