Upgraded to 2005, now our Layouts are off

We recently upgraded to AutoCAD 2005 and are running on Windows XP Pro OS. Our printer is a KIP Starprint 6000. The layouts that we had created page setups for in 2003 are not centering the printed area on the page correctly anymore. They are typically shifted toward the top and to the right of the page, cutting off the part of our title block. The border and title blocks appear to be centered in the layout while in the drawing, however when previewing the plot prior to sending it, it shows that it is indeed shifted up and to the right but shows the entire title block. When plotted it will sometimes cut off the part of the border. It is somewhat inconsistent, which as you can imagine, is frustrating when sending a large plot job.

If you are using Layout as the print area, it could be two things:

    1. Make sure you have a named pagesetup designated in the PageSetup Manager

    2. Change the plot option "Specify plot offset relative to" from "Printable
    area" to "Edge of paper"

I've found that if you use Layout as the print area and have a non-named
pagesetup (they are called <NONE>) then the plots are off-center. This also
messes with Publish and the SSM Publish pagesetup override. You can't even
go into the plot command and choose a named setup from the dropdown, it
still won't work if you don't go into the pagesetup manager and make sure
there is a default pagesetup designated.
