unwrap

    I have not used Solidworks in a while. Is there a function in
    Solidworks to unwrap a cylindrial shape with pockets, slots and bosses
    to a flat. The cylinder would be a parasolid tube with a .500 thick
    wall with a outside diameter of 4 inches.

    I would try putting a slice down one side, insert bends, flatten.
