    Hello

    I don't understand !
    I'm novice with autocad.
    I'm using Autocad 14 and I have a 3D construction drawing file.
When I play "File", "Open", in the "Select File" window I choose my drawing
file and I can see it in the small preview frame.

But when I Open the file, the drawing frame is empty.
I try Zoom, scrollbar ... and all layers are "on"
    My drawing don't appear !
    Why ?

Do anyone have an idea ?
    Help me please !

    Thanks a lot

  2. Did you try Zoom Extents?

Perhaps you are in Paperspace and your drawing isn't.
Click on the tab marked Model near the bottom-left of the screen.
Are all layers Thawed as well as On?

  4. Are all layer also THAWed?
Are you in the right space? (Paper/Model)
Is the model XREFed into the current drawing, but the path to it has been
    severed?
    Try thawing all layers.
    Try UCS>Enter>Enter, and then PLAN>Enter

  5. One more:
are you looking through a floating viewport that is turned off or
    panned/zoomed away from the model?

I think that if we try, we may find that there is an infinite number
of ways to get into a predicament of this sort.

Here is one more for that list; If an object has been moved very
far away from the other objects, when you zoom all, the objects may be
too small to see. This could be caused by a user accidentally moving
an object 1001' instead of .001" by some sort of typo. However, it
can certainly just happen at random because AutoCAD's internal drawing
database seems vulnerable to all sorts of problems from 3rd party
applications, as well as AutoCAD bugs.

If this is the problem, zoom all, then select all, and you should
see little square "handles" on the objects. One of those groups of
your objects are your drawing, and the other group may just be an
individual object that has moved to the planet Pluto.
