Unknown Error Code 202

Does anybody know what causes this error?

I have a single machine which is proving problematic when trying to plot to an HP 1050C. Whenever I select it in the page setup, I get this eror message. I can print to it from Word etc and all other AutoCAD machines can plot to it without problems.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but with no joy. I have searched all my usual places but can find no details on this particular 'Unknown' Error Code

 

Funny I should run across this message at this juncture. I just got the
message when I right-clicked on the layout and selected page setup. I have
my plotter running as a local printer of a laptop down in the garage. I
went down there and found that the laptop had gone to sleep (a long and very
painful story). After rebooting the laptop, the error went away, which
tells me that the error had something to do with not being able to
communicate with the plotter driver, since the machine serving the plotter
was not online.

This may be totally unrelated, but it is one explanation for the error
message.

I have run into the same error with LT2004 & WinXP.

When I select the my Samsung ML-1210 (system printer or pc3) it gives me "Unknown Error Code 202" then lets me continue on with the plot process until I select plot or plot preview - then Autocad crashes. No problems with plotting to any other windows system printer (Oce 9400, HP DJ 500, Mita Ai3030).

Sometimes can get it to plot to the samsung after getting the "202" by messing around with the paper sizes (and the rest of the time Acad just crashes).

Any more thoughts on this?
