    Hello Guys,

Does Unified Constraint Management in 61+ supports read/write
    constraints from/to ascii file?

    Thanks,
    :)

If you're talking about IC61, then the answer is no, but it would be easy enough
to write one with the SKILL interface.

However, the question is - why do you want this? Sometimes it's because people
    want to:

    a) have common constraint groups across all designs in a technology
    b) import constraints from one design to another

The first can be done by using the incremental technology database approach, and
defining your constraint groups in an incremental tech database, which "tops up"
the standard technology database, and then using that for all designs. Since
these are in a tech database, you can dump that to ASCII (and reload it of course).

The second can be done by using the "load physical view" command in Virtuoso XL,
to allow you to import constraints from another view. I've also done it with
    SKILL code.

Perhaps you can clarify what you're actually trying to achieve?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
