undo easier??

    is there a way to put undo command to some other key other than ctrl+z?

    Then you could assign a function key in the ACCELERATORS section of your
    Menu file. See the Customization Guide section of HELP for details on how
    this is done.

    No, but U is the equivalent to CTRL+Z, the subject of the OP.

    You can use space instead of enter. It's still two key, but it doesn't
    stress the pinky out like enter.

    Failing that, customize. Add a keyboard shortcut. I see that crtl-u is
    available.

    My Logitech Wireless Mouse has programmable buttons, one of which is
    undo, another close program... you can choose your own from a list.

    I don't know why the OP doesn't like ^Z so I can't really address your

    I don't think I'd like a key that dangerous on my mouse.
